Hamster in Hiding
Class four of Salt Edge Primary School were distraught to find that their beloved class pet, Hammy, was gone as they returned to school after half term. Teacher, Patsy Jones, claims that she is not to blame for the incident, "the children just rushed out, one child was meant to be taking the poor hamster home, how was I supposed to know that he didn't?"
Patsy is not the only one getting the blame for the tragedy. Care Taker- Joe Smith also denies the allegations " I find it quite funny actually, that even though I'm the only one who ever looks after the little rodent, I've been accused of neglecting it!"
The whole of London started to buzz as the news of the missing hamster spread. Chris Jenkins- who believe in animal rights, turned up at the school wanting an explanation. "For years I have been protesting against animals being kept in schools, and then this happens as if to prove my point!"
Jenkins is not the only one who is furious with the situation, we also interviewed vet, Pritesh Khan who said, " anything could have happened, absolutely anything. I have known Hammy for almost all of the nine months he has been in this world, he grew up needing a lot of care and affection, so when Sam(Pepper, child psychologist) asked if he could stay in school for a while to introduce bonding with animals, I thought it might have been a good experience for him. What a mistake I made."
Hammy is a small, slightly ginger Hamster with a dark brown patch on his left ear, if anyone thinks that they have seen him could you please contact 01241454100 or visits togetherwecanfindhammy.com.
Thank you.

Film review
Just Go With It
A brilliant film that you can ‘just go with’: 5/5.
With a brilliant cast, this could have been a make it or break it film. It hovered just below the line of being cheesy which made it hilarious but not over the top.
Director Denis Dugan is a good friend of leading role Adam Sandler. The pair has produced a variety of exceptional movies consisting of; Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, Grown Ups and Jack and Jill, so ‘Just Go With It’ was bound to be amazing.
The genre of the film is romantic comedy; the funniest film since elf in my opinion, although it is also based on a romantic story.
Danny (Adam Sandler), is found to have been cheated on by his fiancĂ© on the morning of his wedding. After hearing this he decides to become a plastic surgeon with a glamorous lifestyle. He uses his wedding ring to create a new tragic story whenever he meets a girl, all until he meets “the one.”
Palmer (Booklyn Decker) who is portrayed as a young, friendly teacher, finds Danny’s wedding ring and wants an explanation, so all Danny can do is confide in his long term friend and assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston). Katherine is a selfless, considerate and benevolent person. When Danny realises that he is going to lose Palmer, he hatches a plan. He begs Katherine to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife and being so good natured she accepts however it soon spirals out of control and Katherine’s two children get involved.
Bailee Madison (Maggie) and Griffin Gluck (Michael) excel in their performance as Katherine’s two young children. They cover every aspect in which children behave, feel and want to do. Maggie is desperate to be an actress and is forever using a loud, stereotypical English accent. When Michael uses his charm of being innocent and sweet, he finds himself and the family boarding a plane to Hawaii. Although he hardly knows his ‘family’ of which the holiday aimed at swimming with the dolphins consists of, including Palmer, Danny and his mums ‘new boyfriend’ Dalph/Eddie (Nick Swardson).
More and more lies are told as the holiday progresses, and Katherine bumps in to her old nemesis from college Devlin (Nicole Kidman), who looks down on those with children and without a partner. This pushes Katherine to make Danny return the favour, and pretend to be her husband. During more unusual yet amusing events, Katherine and Danny realise that their feelings for one another are developing. This means that when Danny and Palmer’s ‘Hawawi’ themed wedding approaches, it dawns on Katherine she has to move away as she could not possibly work with him every day. However, there is an unexpected twist as Danny realises that him and Katherine will have to live in heartache for the rest of their lives. The end of the film is brought together with a rather cheesy happily ever after.
The amazingly talented actors put together a truly mesmerising and convincing film with scenery so spectacular that it could make anyone want to live in Hawaii. In my opinion there were no flaws and I would recommend this film to just about anyone. I even watched it with my nan who absolutely loved it! So if you feel like a feel- good laugh, watch Just Go With It.

Shakespeare
Shakespeare
On the 23rd of April, 1564, the town of Stratford- upon- Avon did not realise that one of the most important members of the Lord Chamberlains Men's company of theatrical players was born. Little did they know that many centuries after, he would still be remembered as one of the greatest play writers ever to live.
There is evidence that in 1592 William Shakespeare earned his living as an actor and playwright in London. By the early 1590's he was a managing partner in the acting company Lord Chamberlain's Men. In 1603, the company's name was changed to King's Men after the crowning of King James the first. As the King's Men company became more popular, Shakespeare had work published. In the early days of his career, he managed to get the attention of Henry Wriothesly, the earl of Southampton. His fist poems; 'Venus and Adonis' and 'The Rape of Lucrece' were dedicated to Henry.
Out of 37 plays, William had published 15 of them by 1597. The journey to London from Stratford by horse took a very long time, and it as hard to go there every day to work so Shakespeare only came home around once a year to his family.
Many people believe that William Shakespeare did not die on his birthday, however it is a well known fact to others. He died on the 23rd of April 1616. His life was fulfilled well as he managed to write 37 plays, possibly even more, with countless poems.
The Globe Theatre
The Globe theatre is still well known today and performing plays, but the original was actually built in 1599. It was built by Shakespeare's playing company however was set alight in 1613. It was then reconstructed on the same sight in 1614, but then closed down in 1642.
The modern theatre that most people recognise today is also known as Shakespeare's Globe, this was made in 1997. The Globe theatre is a great way of bringing Shakespeare's plays alive once again.

Act one- Scene one Hamlet
Explanation of what is going on in Hamlet Act 1 Scene 1
It was a bitter cold and eerie dark night in the castle of Denmark, the Guards Francisco and Barnardo kept watch although their eyes were drooping more every minute. At first they had not recognised each other in the dark light, but when they identified each other more closely, it was clear that Barnardo had come to take over from Francisco, who was grateful for this as he was depressed. Francisco then heard the footsteps of Marcellus and Horatio; that were meant to be joining Barnardo on the cold night. Francisco left as the others greeted each other. In the two previous nights, Barnardo and Marcellus had seen a ghost, they believed that it had to be the ghost of the dead King, as it looked exactly like it, and was even wearing the armour that the King had worn to war. Horatio however did not agree with such nonsense, and had come on that night to see it for himself.
Horatio was convinced that the late King's ghost would not appear, but he still waited untill the clock struck midnight, as this was the exact time that the ghost had been seen before. As they were waited, Horatio agreed to listen to the story once more, but just when he had started, a cloudy figure drifted towards them, becoming more distinctive as it came nearer. Horatio was shocked at the likeness between the King and this ghost, he fired questions, ordering for answers, but no answers were given. The ghost abandoned the terrified men, offended by Horatio's demands. the three guards stood, shivering, Horatio most of all as it dawned on him that the ghost was wearing the exact same suit of armour that the King had worn for battle against Norway. There were wars due in the country of Denmark, the guards knew that the King had caused them, they also knew that the King turning up was bad luck, bad luck for the country.
The ghost suddenly re- entered , the guards begged for knowledge of the country; if buried treasure was hidden and what they need to do. The rooster crowed loudly, startling the ghost, and when it wouldn't reply the guards tried to threaten it using violence, however soon found out that it was the wrong decision as the ghost left yet again. Marcellus stated that roosters often scare ghosts away, and Horatio agreed. The men then decided that Hamelet- the King's son, needed to know about this. They decided to find him in the morning, and left the freezing castle.
